Who we are
Where can I drop off my child in the mornings?
We have a Kiss & Ride area on Trekronervej where you can drop off your child. You enter Trekronervej via Sparregade. This is a drop-off zone only – no parking permitted.
It is also possible to drop off in Sparregade behind the school. You can then enter the school via the stairs leading to the Børnevilla.
Behind Nykredit there is a parking area which you can enter via Fynsgade.
How do I report my child absent due to illness?
In case of illness, please contact your class teacher.
Is it possible to have time off outside school holidays?
If the duration exceeds more than one day, please contact school management.
What is authorized absence?
Authorised absence indicates that parents have notified the school
What is unauthorized absence?
Unauthorised absence indicates that no permission has been sought or given.
The school has a ‘zero tolerence’ policy with regards to unauthorized absence and parents will be contacted. Repeated unauthorized absences may jeopardise your child’s future at VpR International.
Are there rules for the use of IT and mobile phones?
Mobile phones and IT equipment are permitted at school albeit at your own risk.
From Year 5 we expect students to possess appropriate equipment needed for lessons.
We regard IT equipment as a useful tool to aid learning, never a distraction.
Is it possible to purchase food at school?
You can purchase food via www.skolemad.nu.
The food is delivered to school and must be ordered at least a day in advance.
Snacks can be bought in the school snack bar ‘Futten’ at break and at lunch.
Learning and well-being
The foundation for good schooling is learning and wellbeing in equal measures.
We find that paramount to wellbeing is good and decent behavior for all in the school community. Good communication, respect and decent manners are expected of everyone – adults and children – in our school community, whether it is in school, on school trips on social media or email.
We all have a duty of care to make sure everyone is ok. It is the responsibility of parents to make sure the children turn up at school well rested, well prepared and on time.
