Viborg private Realskole opens in August 2010 a new International Department. The International Department is an equal and integrated part of Viborg private Realskole.

The International Department will welcome the first group of pupils in August.

The International Department provides education from primary to lower secondary (age 5-16).

The International Department offers international education primarily to
nondanish children of parents temporarily residing in Denmark or to Danish children of parents returning from abroad. It is expected that the number of pupils in the International Department will grow to 50 – 60 pupils over the next two to three years.

The objective of Viborg private Realskoles International Department is to be a leading academic international school with english as the main language. We will strive to develop intellect, creativity and character. Academic subjects will be taught in English whereas creative subjects such as art, PE, music and extracurricular activities are integrated in collaboration with the Danish Department.

The International Department will be placed in a newly renovated building – "The International House”. The International House will be designed to meet modern educational methodologies and individually centred learning stiles.
